Invoice Limits and Usage
Every Integration plan includes a monthly allowance of fiscalized invoices. This article explains how much each plan includes, what counts toward the allowance, where to check your usage, and exactly what happens when a connection reaches its limit.
Monthly Allowances by Plan
Plan | Invoices / month |
|---|---|
Starter (legacy — no longer sold) | 300 |
Business | 3,000 |
Professional | 10,000 |
Enterprise / Unlimited | No limit |
The allowance applies per connection (each integration, with its own certificate, has its own counter) and per calendar month.
On a trial? Trial connections have a fixed total invoice allowance instead of a monthly one — once it's used, it doesn't reset. The Integrations page shows your trial usage.
What Counts Toward the Limit
Every successfully fiscalized invoice counts — regardless of its type. That includes:
Normal sale invoices
Refunds and copies (each is its own fiscal document)
Training invoices — test invoices count too, so keep training mode sessions short
Invoices that failed to fiscalize do not count.
Checking Your Usage
Go to Integrations → Integrations in the Client Portal. Each connection row shows its plan and current monthly usage, e.g. 1,240 / 3,000. Usage resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC).
What Happens at the Limit
When a connection reaches its monthly allowance, fiscalization pauses for that connection — new invoices are not sent to the tax authority:
Xero invoices get a note in their History & Notes: "Maximum number of invoices reached (3000/3000). Please upgrade your package to continue fiscalizing."
On other platforms, invoices simply stop being fiscalized — check the usage counter on the Integrations page
Direct API calls (Custom Integration) receive an HTTP 402 response with the same message
Compliance note: invoices issued while over the limit are not fiscalized. Upgrade promptly to stay compliant.
After you upgrade (or the month resets)
Invoices that failed in the last ~3 days are retried automatically (about once an hour), so recent ones will fiscalize on their own once capacity is available. Older invoices, or ones you need immediately, can be re-triggered by re-approving or editing them in your accounting platform. See How retries work.
