Using Multiple Organizations
Many customers run several companies — for example three shops, each with its own tax identification number (TIN), all managed under one Xero login or one accounting account. This article explains how to set that up correctly in FiscoBridge.
The Golden Rule: One Certificate per Company
The tax authority issues one fiscal certificate per company (TIN). In FiscoBridge that means:
Each company/organization needs its own PFX certificate
Each certificate gets its own integration (connection)
Each connection tracks its own invoices, tax label mapping, and monthly usage
So "three organizations" always means three certificates and three connections — even if they all live under a single accounting login.
Adding Another Organization
Repeat the normal connect flow once per organization:
Request and download the certificate for that company's TIN (see Requesting a Digital Certificate)
Go to Integrations → Integrations and click Create Integration
Select your platform, upload that company's certificate, and complete the authorization
When the platform asks which organization to connect, pick the one matching the certificate
Important: Make sure the organization you select during authorization matches the company the certificate was issued for. The fiscal receipts are signed in that company's name.
How It Works with Xero
Xero manages authorization per Xero login, not per organization. FiscoBridge accounts for this:
All organizations you connect under the same Xero login share one secure authorization
Connecting an additional organization does not disturb the ones already connected
If the authorization expires, all of that login's organizations show as needing a reconnect — and a single Reconnect on any one of them restores all of them at once
You do not need separate Xero logins for each organization. Connect all your organizations from the login that has access to them; each still gets its own certificate and its own integration.
Other Platforms
Zoho Books / QuickBooks / Sage: create one integration per organization or business, selecting the right one during each authorization. Each connection maintains its own authorization — if one expires, reconnect that one.
MYOB: each company file is its own integration with its own certificate.
Cloudbeds: each property is its own integration — authorize each with a Cloudbeds user belonging to that property.
Seats and Limits
Each connection uses one seat (connection) of your Integration subscription, and each has its own monthly invoice allowance at your plan's tier. If you're out of seats, upgrade your plan or ask your reseller for a key with more connections. See Invoice Limits and Usage.
Troubleshooting
All my organizations stopped syncing at once (Xero)
This is the shared authorization needing a refresh. Click Reconnect on any one of the affected integrations — all organizations under that login are restored together.
I connected the wrong organization to a certificate
Remove that integration and create a new one with the correct pairing. Previously fiscalized invoices are unaffected.
