Issuing Codes to Customers

Once you have licences in your inventory, you turn them into activation codes and hand those to your customers. Your customer redeems the code in their own FiscoBridge account — they never see FiscoBridge pricing, and you invoice them directly.

Issuing a Code

  1. Go to PartnerInventory and click Issue code (or use PartnerIssued Codes)

  2. In the dialog, choose:

    • Product — each option shows your current inventory for it

    • Period — Monthly or Yearly

    • Seats — for per-seat products (Web Invoicing, Integrations): how many seats this one code should carry

    • Recipient (existing client) — optionally pick one of your referral clients

    • Customer name or note and Recipient email — optional labels to help you find the code later

  3. Click to issue — the code is shown with a copy button

Copy the code and share it with your customer yourself (for example in your quote or invoice email) — FiscoBridge does not email codes. The recipient email you enter is only a label for your records. You can re-copy any code later from the Issued Codes page.

Note: Each code supplies one customer. A per-seat code creates one subscription with the seat count you chose — to supply several customers, issue a separate code for each. Your inventory is reduced accordingly per code issued.

Activate immediately

If the recipient is one of your referral clients and the product supports it (Web Invoicing and Integration plans), you can tick Activate immediately for this client — the subscription is provisioned on their account right away, with no code entry needed on their side.

Code Formats

SDC

SDC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Integrations

INT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Web Invoicing

WEB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Desktop POS

POS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Codes use uppercase letters and digits 2–9; look-alike characters (0, 1, I, L, O) are never used.

How Your Customer Redeems a Code

  • Clients who signed up through your referral link see an Activate code button in their portal (on the Integrations page and the Web Invoicing certificates page): "Paste the activation code your partner provided." Redeeming creates their subscription for the code's tier, seats, and period.

  • SDC licences are applied in the SDC application — see Applying a License.

  • When your customers need more seats or connections later, their portal directs them to contact you, their partner — you then issue another code.

A code can be redeemed once, on one account. After redemption it shows as Activated in your Issued Codes list, along with who activated it.

Activating on the customer's behalf (offline)

For SDC and Desktop POS codes you can also activate offline yourself: on the Issued Codes page, click Activate offline on the code, enter the customer's hardware ID, and download the licence certificate file to deliver to them. Re-entering the same hardware ID re-downloads the same certificate.

Tracking Issued Codes

PartnerIssued Codes lists every code with search (by company or email) and status filters:

Status

Meaning

Not activated

Issued but not yet redeemed

Activated

Redeemed by a customer (shows who and when)

Revoked

You revoked it before redemption — the licence returned to your inventory

Expired

No longer redeemable

Revoking a code

You can revoke any code that hasn't been activated yet: click Revoke on its row. The underlying licence is returned to your inventory, and the code stops working. Activated codes cannot be revoked.
